Rain Chains
Who would have ever thought you could make something beautiful out of rain? Here in the Pacific Northwest we have so much rain, and we typically just look to escape it. Recently, I was thinking that maybe I could make better use of our plentiful rain and I starting looking into rain chains.
A rain chain is something that I hang on my porch and it really helps my front yard to sparkle when we get out frequent showers. I can’t say I look forward to the rain but I have stopped dreading every time the heavens open up to drench us. Now that I have started down the rain chain path, I am even looking into getting more chains rain.
If you are lucky enough to live in a dry climate of course rain decorations are not for you, however if you live in a wet clime like I do why not take advantage of the natural beauty the rain opens up to you? Stop looking at rain as something bad (unless you are a farmer you just might), and start looking at it as an accesory for beauty that just needs to be utilized with some decorations.
