My reasons for buying BP Stocks today
So this weekend, I sat down by my fireplace with my laptop opened to my online trading account and thought about my investment portfolio. Obviously times have been tough and my portfolio looks beyond horrible. The market has been rough for everyone over the last 9 months and as an average American family my account is terrible too. Nonetheless, I think there are some good buys out there, and there of course some really bad ones. I did a bit of research on my online broker, and based on what I believe to be true and the technical information I saw online, I think BP is a buy.
The stock is currently near one of its all time lows, and its a great British company. Since I am buying this stock online and I don’t pay huge commissions for stock trading, it seems like a safe gamble. If I am wrong I can just bail on the trade without a huge commission on the way out. I don’t believe BP will go out of business and wipe out all of their shareholders, nor do I think the Government will allow them to fail outright. So take my advice fire up your online accounts and start buying some stock!
Now that I decided to buy the BP stock I had to decided where to buy it. I decided to go with FirstTrade for 2 primary reasons. 1) First trade allows Mobile Trading. I am an Iphone addict and I do almost everything from my phone and the ability to buy and sell on my phone is a deciding factor for me. 2) As someone who cares about my retirement these trades are for my IRA accounts and First Trade specializes in retirement. This weekend I made the BP purchase. For everyone in our economies sake, lets hope it was a good buy.

Just yesterday, Sarah Palin’s book, Going Rogue was released. Time to Remodel My Home For the Winter

The fireplace in my home is literal and spiritual source of warmth and it’s the kind of place that I really want to have be perfect. Since my mantel was falling off because of the frigid cold, it was time to remodel. Just like other things in my house, and even the style of home too, a fireplace can become very outdated and not just the aesthetic aspect of it but also the health and safety aspects too. So over the last couple of weeks I redid my fireplace.
Fireplaces are truly a room’s centerpiece and they should be attractive and appealing. They don’t have to be elaborate, expensive pieces but they should be well kept, especially since they add brightness and warmth to the room and it becomes difficult to hide an unkempt fireplace. And you’d be surprised how truly easy it is to make an old fireplace come alive again.
I went with a strong stone fireplace but I needed some stainless steel fireplace accessories to go along with it. Finally Found the Car I was Looking fo Online

As you know I have been pretty busy since mid-August and I did not have time to find a new car for my family. I personally do not shop online as much as other people so I was primarily looking for an online directory of auto dealers. Interestingly enough local.com matches you to the locale that you are searching from. This helped since I did not have to go through the whole rigamarole of finding what city I should be searching in. I happened to have been in San Francisco, and bam up popped auto dealers for San Francisco.
Being able to go directly to an auto dealers listing page and just have dealer phone numbers show up is kind of what I had been searching for in local search anyways. Let me tell you in my job I don’t have time for endless searching online. I am lucky if I can grab a few minutes away from my screaming babies and employees. It was really helpful that I was able to see car reviews, dealer reviews all on one page.
Thankfully, once I found the right dealer it was a pretty simple process to buy the car. I knew what I was in for based on the dealer reviews and the reviews of the car I wanted to buy. I purchased a beautiful Ferrari. Just kidding I got a beige 2009 Honda Accord with a sunroof, leather seats and chrome wheels.
