I needed to conduct due diligence on a company  I was purchasing. I spent many tens of hours on Google but I could only find snippets of info. After a couple weeks of seeking info, I stumbled across a due diligence checklist which happened to come from Merrill Datasite. Through that checklist, I hit pay dirt.

The checklist introduced me to the servicce that would provide all my due diligence needs for me. Merrill has a virtual data room and reams of information that is so valuable when you are conducting due diligence on  a company for acquisition or just for investment purposes. It appears that every penny you could spend on Merrill is worth the expense, since so many hours of hard and laborious research will be saved.

In addition to data, merril also has translation services for when you are looking into a company that has documents in a language you are not familiar with. If you do not know the language, you would not even know whether you are looking at the right docs.  Brink International is a leading provider of financial, legal, life sciences and corporate Translation Services for global companies. With Merril’s translation and data services you cannot go wrong.

Taking University Classes

I recently decided that I wanted to be a Marketing, public relations, and sales executives. Marcom people are the first line of contact between a business and the public. When a company has goods or services to sell, the PR, marketing, and sales executives are responsible for communicating and interacting with consumers, the media, and other external groups to make sure the company succeeds. I don;t have the time to take classes in a local school, so I signed up with an online university to take Online Courses.

At a fraction of the price and time that a community college would take I am now going to be well on my way to a dream career with an online degree programs in business administration. The Chronicle has given many online edu ards for its high quality of education, and I am looking forward to learning so much. The teachers in onlince schools really care and they aren’t just some public university employees working for a pension.

The education I expect to receive over the next couple of years is second to none, not even an Ivy league can compare since the the professors and services are there specifically for me to learn. In a regular university you are just another tuition check, but in online schools a student is a customer and the customer is always right. Suprisingly, I even got financial aid from http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/, so if you are in need of a degree check it out.

New Car Purchase

I recently needed to buy a new car and I have been shopping around for a Honda Dealer in Chicago and I found http://www.ednapletonhonda.com .  After doing much research, I chose to get the Honda Accord.
The Accord nameplate is one of the most storied names in the business.
The Honda Accord continues to stay in the spotlight for good reasons. Critics praise its massive interior space – the government actually categorizes it a large car – strong resale value and impressive long-term reliability. In fact, Car and Driver says that the 2011 Honda Accord “remains a first-rate ambassador to the segment.” Now that you know my reasons for the Accord, here;s why I got it from Ed Napleton in Chicago (If you arent in chicago just call them up).
Ed Napleton Honda is a great place for me to get into the Honda family. Their customer service and attendtion to detail was just awesome and if I needed another car, I would certainly get it there. They were knowledgable and not at all pushy like otehr dealers I had been to. I liked them so much, I am even going to get my oil changed there. If you know me that is a huge compliment to give to an auto dealer, since I usually cannot stand dealers. For more about Ed Napleton be sure to check out their blog at http://www.hondadealersblog.com.

Buying Gold in Tough Times

I read an interesting article which stated that Arab countries seeking to undermine the US are switching from dollar based oil transactions to ones based on the price of gold. Many foreign currency investors and regular investors aren’t sure what currency they should place their investments into which is creating a unique pressure on the one form of currency which is universal: Buy gold as the gold price goes up.

A gold coin last year or the year before might have just been a novelty collectors item or a very conservative investment however with the current gold prices turning ones currency reserves into gold IRA is not a bad idea at all.

No matter what happens, if the US market crashes or any other country ones investments in gold bullion would still be able to get one the basic living supplies they would need. A gaurantee that no currency can match. I am not saying that you could walk into a grocery store with bullion but you can definitely count on someone who is willing to barter your gold for food. In the history of the world gold has never become worthless and its not about to start now, just check the gold spot prices for the last 50 years.

And as an investment just for short term gold couldnt be a better idea. The more dire the news the higher your investment will grow. Just look at the trend over the last year. Even if you are not an entire bear and don;t think the world is going to hell in a hand basket, gold makes a great hedge against any other market susceptible investments you have. Download a widget and start tracking spot gold, you will see that I am right.

Shopping for TV

When it comes to choosing your sports tv programming, your option usually comes down to Dish Network vs Directv vs cable sports. By comparing these sports television providers, you can find the one that works best for you and your sports habits, so that you make the most of the money that you spend. Where I begin your comparison is where I can get the most on my Sunday Ticket?

You need to first compare the number of channels and the type of sports subscriptions that are offered from each provider.

Here is the basic rundown of the offerings of each service. For around $40 per month, Direct TV offers a satellite package of 100 top sports channels with the local channels. For the same amount, direct tv offers a package of 140 top channels and includes 50 XM Satellite radio channels as well. However my local cable channel Cox Cable Sports offers all this plus on Demand.

By comparing the Satellite TV offerings for each price that fits your budget, you can find the right TV provider for you and your needs.

For the most part, these components are offered free if you sign up for service for a particular length of time, but sometimes there is a rental fee that is associated with components, which can cause your monthly fee to be more than the programming cost.

When comparing TV packages, you will want to include those parts of television viewing or features that are important to you. If price is your main consideration, then use this as the main comparison. If sports are your thing, then use sports as your main comparison.

Getting Sober Now in Rehab

So last time this year I was in  Orchid Recovery Center for Women for the second time. I am gr8ful for that time. Of course then I was full of shame and guilt, my pride and EGO were crushed and I was drenched in Fear. I was so embarassed that I had ended up in Orchid Recovery Center. I had never known anyone to have such a problem and I was mortified.

A woman shared this morning during the women’s Addiction Treatment. She has 6 days. I shook the hand of a newcomer recently with 24 hours, her hands were sweaty from the poison trying to leave her body and the alcohol rehab program she was working. We never come in bright and full of life. But that desperation can be the greatest catalyst to begin a journey of healing. This thing is so deadly and it is taking others right now down a dark lonely path. Such truth. I was there not too long ago and can go there in a second if I do not actively participate in my recovery. That is my truth.

Ok this is short but needed to post some of this information for women. I keep steady presence on Facebook. Look me up if you want. For now I send you love and cyber hugs. One day at a time. Best of luck.

Computer Security

These days people do so much on their computers from work, to banking, to schoolwork. People live on their computers through social networks and even cheat on their spouse online. Most people have no idea that by using their computers they could be potentially exposing their whole life if someone were to secretly load a keylogger on their computer.

Most people think these hi tech spy gadgets are the tools of the CIA or FBI but any one can get these tools from Brickhouse security and begin spying on strangers. For only some pocket change one can get in the business of being a serious creep or identity thief. Anyone can buy these kinds of products from ex-cons to teenagers looking for online trouble. Even parents, kids, or spouses can get their hands on the gadgets and begin snooping on what you are doing on the computer.

The best way to protect oneself from being snooped on is a bit of street smarts and counterintelligence. Brickhouse also sells gadgets that will help you make your computer safety a lot more secure. One need not sit idly by waiting to get hacked. Be aware of the possibilties when surfing and prepare to defend against them.

Arena Tickets From A Cheap Seat

I’m always amazed when I meet a friend who wasn’t aware that they can buy football tickets and even the highly in demand  Bon Jovi Tickets online. Many of my friends  don’t know that just because the Stadium office says a game is sold out, doesn’t mean there are no more tickets available anywhere at all. There is no need to stand in long lines or camp out overnight anymore. You can now get tickets to just about anything online these days. And all you’ll need is a credit card and an Internet connection to logon to acheapseat.com.

The internet has leveled the playing field, making it easier than ever before for anyone to purchase sold out, premium or hard-to-find event tickets. Since you don’t need to physically touch a ticket before you buy it, purchasing tickets online makes a lot of sense. The only things that differentiate various online ticket websites are trustworthiness, selection and price. I personally found acheapseat to be the best bargain with the most selection.

What kinds of tickets can I buy online?

You can buy just about any event tickets you can think of on the Web. You can get Chicago Theatre Tickets, or Augusta National Golf Course tickets tickets

It used to be that you either had to wait in a long line right before the tickets went on sale, continue calling Ticket dealers or the boxoffices until you finally got through, or participate in some shady deal outside the venue or stadium with a scalper, chancing arrest. All of these options were less than ideal. There is no need to need to stand in the rain just for Allstate Arena tickets or the highly sought Churchill Downs Tickets, the Acheapseat has changed the “game” around and you can tickets from the comfort of your home! Just log on and buy!

Shopping for Instruments

Buying the musical instruments online are one of the great ideas for those that end of up buying lots of instruments. Shopwiki will help you find great prices but now you need to know how to shop for an instrument like a clarinets

Finding the perfect product for any occasion can seem baffling, but it’s simple if you keep a few basic things in mind.
How much do you plan to spend? The price of a trumpet can range from tens of dollars to thousands, but more expensive doesn’t always mean better. A budget will help focus your attention on products that fit into your budget but you will feel better about the purchase if you don’t go overboard.

Whether you’re purchasing an instrument for yourself or just for someone else, consider how the product  personality plays into the selection. Many people have a “signature appliance look” that not only resembles their personality, but tends to also match their body chemistry.

Once you have identified their choice product look, consider purchasing their gift in a large size or multiple options so they can choose that works the best. Shopwiki will help you with best deal, so get creative without the worry of buying a present they will hate.

My New Mailbox and Why I got one

One very important feature of a condo is the appearance of  apartment mailboxes. Many homeowners neglect to consider the aesthetic look of what is usually considered an entirely functional object because of the much hidden nature of its being. Sure, there may be the occasional gimmick that is crafted in the shape of a baseball bat or gingerbread house, but for the average homeowner, cbu mailboxes are simply a utility.

Creative community mailboxes notwithstanding, the key to keeping your mailbox functional and tasteful is to make sure that it does not fall into disrepair. A good rule of thumb to follow is that if it is ten years or older, you need to seriously consider its condition. If you find that wear and tear is too great, do not hesitate to buy a new mail box. After all, in most cases, the mailbox is the first thing that a neighbor encounters when approaching your house.

These too oft-overlooked features of the overall home aesthetic can provide a spectacular boost to the look of your home if updated with care it should not look like commercial mailboxes. Keep tabs on the condition of your home front mailbox at regular intervals to ensure a well kept house. Homes with  ugly  community mailboxes are usually good signs of neglect and will not bode well for neighborhood security. A dvault mailbox is a cheap easy fix for the home, do yourself a favor and get a new one.
